In 10th grade, in our school we are asked to create a project that is correlated with our interests. Our"personal project". For my personal project I have chosen to engage with biology, being one of my rudimentary interests and possibly a subject I will pursue my undergraduate studies in. I wanted to acquire knowledge from extensive research and enhance my critical thinking skills by paraphrasing and summarizing the information from my research in order to fit into a brief and easily comprehended book. Moreover, I am highly interested in online graphics, a subject which I did not have the chance to become involved with in the past, thus I assimilated online design skills by creating illustrations which will explain and support my research. The creation of the book also added to my learning goal in a pedagogical aspect by transmitting my scientific knowledge I gathered for my project to children.
